Location

This conference will take place at the Main Building of H University in Athens, Greece. H University - Department of Informatics is located in the area of Tavros but very close to the area of Kallithea, which is around 6km from the center of Athens. Kallithea, meaning “the best view”, is one of the biggest municipalities of Athens with a rich history in education as it holds two universities – H-University and  P- University – and Siv technical school, which is one of the oldest technical schools in Greece.

Cloud Computing is changing the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, making IT services more accessible to businesses. It is offered without requiring initial capital investment from customers, which leads several businesses to faster growth in the market. From the perspective of the provider, Cloud Computing offers a variety of different features, while on the demand side, users benefit from choosing the right services or combinations of these, depending on their needs. The fact that Cloud Computing is evolving and its services are multiplying and expanding faster than the ability of consumers to manage, while searching for the best provider or the best package, recognize the need for Cloud Service Broker (CSB).

The Cloud Computing conference will mainly highlight the problems and drawbacks of Cloud Computing in general, but also with examples in various market segments. Suggestions for solutions will be presented to some of them and it will be discussed how the CSB can play a key role as a facilitator for both providers and customers.
